On Monday, 8 September at 19:00, registration for competitors and media opened for the final round of the Terminal Estonian Rally Championship and Cup – 58th Saaremaa Rally.

The 58th Saaremaa Rally will take place on 10th – 11th October, with 10 special stages covering 111.52 stage kilometres. The total rally distance is 514.59 km. Three stages will be held on the opening day and seven on the second day. After a one-year break, the always-popular Kuressaare city stage returns.

Traditionally, the Saaremaa Rally start and finish podium is on Kuressaare central square, and the competitors’ awards ceremony will take place for the second year in a row at the Kuressaare Sports Centre, where the official Saaremaa Rally afterparty will feature the band Terminaator.

On Friday, the forest stages will be run in northern Saaremaa. The first, the Laugu special stage, has been run in various versions in recent years, and for this year we’ve once again found a new and interesting configuration. The second, the Paatsa special stage, is practically a new test – likely only Margus Murakas among today’s competitors has driven it in this form. We’ll end Friday in Kuressaare with a city stage run around Kuressaare Park.

We’re pleased to note that on Saturday, in addition to Undva and Kaugatoma, this year’s schedule includes two more legendary special stages that haven’t been run for a long time. The rally hasn’t passed through the Taritu area for over five years, and the stone fences and narrow road on that stage will certainly be a challenge for all competitors. Also Leedri special stage, where there likewise hasn’t been any racing for several years, ” said Saaremaa Rally Clerk of the Course – Rasmus Uustulnd, outlining what awaits at the final round of the national championship season.

Registration for competitors and media for Saaremaa Rally to be run on 10th – 11th October is open until 21:00 on 1 October. Competitors’ start numbers will be published on 2 October at 17:00.

In the schedule, we’ve planned for a maximum of 150 rally cars. There is, of course, a bit of leeway, and we will certainly do everything in our power to ensure everyone who wants to compete can take part. If that limit is once again exceeded by 20 – 30 cars, then in the worst case the organiser has reserved the right to decide who is allowed to start. “ said Uustulnd.

Spectator access to the 58th Saaremaa Rally special stages is ticketed. Rally pass costs 30€ and can be purchased on the Piletitasku website or at S-Link sales points, and during rally week also at the Saare Selver sales point. If you buy online, you’ll receive an unique QR code by email after purchase, which must be exchanged for a wristband at official Saaremaa Rally 2025 sales points or on the access roads leading to the special stages.

Single-use special stage passes can also be purchased on the access roads leading to the stages, priced at 15€.

The ticket for the Saaremaa Rally afterparty on Saturday, 11th October costs 20€, but if you buy a combo ticket that includes a Rally Pass + Afterparty ticket, you get the bundle for 10€ less.
